Meet Chaunte Rankin

Chaunte Rankin is a finance and operations leader with more than 15 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, tax compliance, payroll, and human resources management. She has a proven track record of strengthening financial systems and helping organizations operate with greater efficiency, accuracy, and long-term sustainability.

As Director of Finance and Operations at The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, Chaunte led all financial functions, including audits, compliance, and reporting. During her tenure, she launched a shared services program that provided bookkeeping and financial infrastructure support to 18 smaller nonprofit organizations—expanding access to high-quality financial management across the community.

She now provides bookkeeping and operational support through her consulting practice, C. Rankin Designs Consulting, partnering with nonprofits to build strong financial foundations and streamline internal processes. Her professional background also includes leadership roles in the automotive and digital marketing industries, where she improved accounting systems and strengthened internal controls.

Chaunte is proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and a variety of accounting and payroll systems. She is SHRM-CP certified, bringing a unique combination of financial and HR expertise that allows her to support organizations holistically.

Passionate about helping mission-driven teams succeed, she specializes in providing clear, reliable financial reporting and strategic support that empowers leaders to focus on their core work.

A Greensboro native, Chaunte is a proud graduate of NC A&T State University and a dedicated mother.
